Having grown up frequenting brocantes and antiques markets around Europe, I have been passionate about design, art and theatre throughout the centuries for as long as I can remember. I work well with Designers and Production Directors to help their vision come to life; having recently worked on the first International Tour of the National's War Horse, Sweat at the Donmar with Martha Plimpton and Leanne Best and the Young Vic's acclaimed production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof with Sienna Miller and Jack O'Connell. I have had the pleasure of working with some of today's top Prop Supervisors, Richard Watson, Ellie Smith, Lizzie Frankl, and Designers for theatre; Es Devlin, Peter MacKintosh, Simon Wells, Michael Vale, Tom Scutt, Ben Stones, Frankie Bradshaw and Magda Willi.
Experience in the West End, UK Tours, Music Tours, Music Videos, Film, Promos and Events across a wide range of styles and periods.
After completing my Masters at Mountview Academy, I began my career in the Arts as a actor, which enhanced my deep appreciation of props and their importance in catapulting the audience and cast into the world we've created. I often also worked as an Assistant Stage Manager, looking after the props and putting them to bed. As an actor for 8 years, I worked on productions in the West End, the Donmar, Orange Tree Theatre and on UK Tours and Television series; Black Mirror, Call the Midwife and Endeavor.
Using a wealth of transferable skills from work on stage, in film and from creating my own niche successful small business, ShoeLicks, I career pivoted into Prop Buying and have started Prop Supervising, and Art Directing, including a feature film with Sony Pictures and other small projects in film.
Collecting vintage objets trouvés from a young age gave me a solid foundation, knowledge and love of 20th century design, furniture, branding and bargain hunting. Acclaimed as a dedicated, innovative, resourceful and fun team member.
